As Pittsburgh (PA) moves forward with preliminary approval of a bill that aims to establishment a right-of-way fee structure, Crown Castle Government Affairs Manager Thomas Musgrove emphasized the city’s incompliance with FCC orders regarding pricing for processing applications and maintaining rights-of-ways. During a July 8 city council meeting, Musgrove reiterated the FCC’s order that municipalities cannot charge more than the "actual, reasonable, direct costs" of processing applications and maintaining the right-of-way."
