Crown Castle says Illinois telecom flouting FCC’s pole regs
Crown Castle has accused Commonwealth Edison of breaking FCC rules by charging excessive pole attachment fees and denying the company access to hundreds of poles. The article is behind a paywall, but it does not that in one of two compalints posted last Thursday, Crown Castle Fiber LLC told the FCC that "Commonwealth Edison’s fees for attaching wireless and wireline infrastructuren to its poles are far above the legal levels laid out by the agency in a 2011 order."
