A month prior to the start of Mobile World Congress, Huawei confirmed at a pre-MWC 2019 briefing in Beijing last week, that it will unveil a high-end foldable 5G smartphone at the mobile show. Although Richard Yu, the CEO of Huawei’s Consumer Business Group, didn't mention the name of the device or reveal details about how it would fold, he did say that the upcoming phone will use a new 5G modem, the Balong 5000.
