Industry cheers FCC's legal victory in small cell battle
A federal appeals court upheld the FCC’s 2018 ruling limiting municipalities’ ability to negotiate with telecom companies looking to deploy 5G infrastructure. Light Reading’s Mike Dano reported the FCC’s new victory could “help smooth out the deployment of small cells around the country. That's undoubtedly welcome news to companies like Mobilitie, Verizon and Crown Castle.”
