Q&A with Renee Morales of Crown Castle
Crown Castle’s Renee Morales was featured in the Pittsburgh Downtown Community Development Corporation Newsletter, where she discussed the importance of 5G technology in transforming U.S. cities and Crown Castle’s role in that deployment. Morales stated, “Crown Castle is well positioned in any municipality to bring about the 5G revolution. We offer a shared communications infrastructure model. This means we build the infrastructure in a community that multiple wireless carriers can put their network equipment on. It’s a win for a jurisdiction as it reduces the amount of visual clutter by reducing the need for multiple poles and it’s a win for the carriers as it allows them to invest in their networks.”
