State small cell bill meets opposition
Maryland’s HB 654 has been critiqued by opponents that say it “would supersede local ordinances and regulations, limiting local government authority over the installation of small cell equipment and poles in the public ROWs.” From an industry standpoint, Crown Castle, along with AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon, have spoken in support of the legislation.
