The (Gradual) 5G Revolution Next-level Internet Coming to Texas
The Texas Comptroller published a report on the expansion of 5G throughout Texas, focusing the federal role in deploying 5G. Reporter Patrick Graves stated, “Amandus “Mandy” Derr, director of government affairs for communications infrastructure company Crown Castle, credits 2017 state legislation (Senate Bill 1004) with streamlining and harmonizing municipal administrative procedures applicable to 5G. He singled out Houston and Dallas as moving quickly to greet the new technologies.”
