Vapor IO, Crown Castle Bring Amazon Web Services to the Kinetic Edge
Last week, Crown Castle and Vapor IO announced they teamed up to create a service that interconnects Vapor IO’s Kinetic Edge with Amazon Web Services (AWS) through Crown Castle’s high-speed Cloud Connect. Crown Castle’s offering of Cloud Connect capabilities to the Kinetic Edge will allow customers to develop cloud-based mobile applications on AWS that can support edge workloads through a direct connection that can not only lower costs, but also deliver more reliability and throughput.
