Wireless industry remains immune to 'Covid effect'
Fierce Wireless published an article detailing COVID-19’s effect on the wireless industry, specifically those in the small cell and in-building businesses. The article notes Crown Castle did not make any significant small cell deals in the second quarter, adding that this is not unusual for the nature of the business. CEO Jay Brown states: “We don’t view this as a change in the business. We think it’s reflective of natural timing and the ebb and flow we will see over time.”
