How Ventura County is working to increase broadband
A group of public and private entities and individuals are working to make sure Ventura County, CA is ready for "blazing fast" internet connectivity. In Ventura and Oxnard, "a consultant is exploring what it would take to a create a broadband master plan and develop a policy to ensure that anytime the ground is ripped up, fiber optic cable is installed. In Santa Paula, a new, 1,500-home development will be broadband-ready. Across Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties, the Broadband Consortium of the Pacific Coast is working to pull it all together on a regional scale."
