Keeping Louisville’s parks looking pristine is no east task with much of the work falling to volunteers. Today, about 30 people from Crown Castle, a telecommunications infrastructure company, got their hands dirty at Shelby Park. Matt Spalding with the Olmstead Parks Conservency works with volunteer groups on a regular basis and appreciates the helping hands. "It’s always an amazing experience. So many groups come out, uncertain what to expect, and I do a little bit of education and park history. Councilwoman Barbara Sexton-Smith also stopped by and joined the group for a moment to talk about their efforts.
