Public trials of Vapor IO’s Vapor Chamber, a 9-foot diameter enclosure designed to provide all the electrical facilities, cooling, ventilation and stability to enable same-day deployment of compute capability, have begun in real-world 5G scenarios. Through agreements with various cellular tower owners, including Crown Castle, Vapor IO has been strategically stationing modules with cooling components across a metro area to leverage their existing fiber optic cable links to communicate with one another at minimum latency.
